Important Changes Regarding Verification

Verification Changes for 2012-13

If you have already completed your FAFSA and were selected for verification by the U.S. Department of Education, you are required to submit the following information to our office:

• 2012-2013 Verification Worksheet

      and attach

• Copy of 2011 tax return transcript      

      or

• You can choose the IRS data retrieval tool by submitting a correction to your FAFSA.  If your tax information is successfully retrieved from the IRS, you will NOT be required to submit the tax return transcript.  Please allow at least 2 weeks from the date you submitted your tax return to the IRS before making the correction.
